SURGERY
With over 3000 surgical interventions in our clinic and a decade long experience, we created over 10 signature surgical techniques with minimal scarring.
OUR PROCEDURES
Eyelid surgery, or upper blepharoplasty, is the most commonly performed surgery in our clinic. At SN Medic, we use our own signature techniques which give superior results for our patients.
- How is the intervention performed?
Eyelid surgery is done under local anesthesia.
- How long does the intervention last?
The procedure takes about 20 minutes for both eyelids, and after the surgery you can return home.
- How long does the recovery last?
Sutures are removed 5 days after the surgery. Swelling can last from a couple of days to a couple of weeks, depending on the individual. Patients can also experience bruising, which is quite common.
Full recovery and results are achieved after 2-3 months. The effects of eyelid surgery last about 10 years.
- Guidelines after the procedure
Resting and applying cold compresses is recommended during the first 24-48 hours after the surgery. Lifting heavy weights is forbidden during the first 3 weeks after the surgery. We recommend refraining from smoking at least a month before and three months after the surgery.
Eye bag surgery, or lower blepharoplasty, is a surgical method used to tighten sagging skin and remove wrinkles from the under-eye area, eye bag removal, as well as to remove cheek bags (malar edema).

A lip lift is a surgical method for a permanent increase of the lip size, by shortening the distance between the nose and lip. The method our doctors at SN Medic use is called ‘modified bullhorn lip lift’, and this technique is well-known for being used by Dr. Ben Taley, reputedly the best lip lift surgeon in the world. We are the only clinic in the region that applies the same technique.
- How is the procedure performed?
Lip lift surgery is done under local anesthesia. The procedure is painless and comfortable for the patient.
- How long does the intervention last?
The lip lift takes about 30 minutes, and after the procedure, you can go home and continue with your usual activities. Sutures are removed 7-10 days after the surgery, only if they do not dissolve on their own.

Swelling can last 4-12 weeks, and the scar can be covered with makeup 7-10 days after the surgery.

Surgical eyebrow lift, or brow lift (’Z’ brow lift), enables the lifting of the lowered or sagging eyebrows and temples. It can be done as a separate procedure or together with an eyelid lift.
As we grow older, our eyebrows tend to lower together with our eyelid skin, giving a tired look. With brow lift surgery, we can achieve a more permanent rested and youthful look.
- How is the intervention performed?
Brow lift is performed under local anesthesia.
- How long does the intervention last?
The intervention lasts about 30 minutes, and you can go home immediately after the surgery.
- How long does recovery last?
Recovery is typically quick, and regular activities can be resumed just two days after the surgery. Sutures are hidden in the hair area, and the incision is in the shape of the letter Z, with dimensions of just 1cm. The sutures are removed 10-14 days after the surgery, and the scar is unnoticeable in the hair area.
- Guidelines after the intervention
Wound dressing is not needed. There are typically no hematomas or bruising. Resting is recommended during the first couple of days after the surgery. Generally, this procedure’s recovery is one of the fastest and least uncomfortable, which makes the brow lift one of the top procedures performed in our clinic.
Biopolymer is actually silicone oil, previously used in lip filler. Today, however, biopolymer is illegal worldwide as its detrimental effects have been scientifically proven. When biopolymer filler is applied in lips, the human body starts rejecting it as a foreign body, creating lumps and scar tissue, making the lip lose its previous shape, often ’falling’ on the sides, giving an artificial look.
Due to these reasons, at SN Medic, biopolymer removal is a procedure that is often performed. After removing biopolymer from the lip, it is possible to correct the lip appearance by applying dermal hyaluronic fillers, which are proven to be harmless to our bodies.
- How is the procedure performed and how long does it last?
Biopolymer removal surgery lasts about 20 minutes and is performed under a local anesthetic.
- How long does the recovery last?
Sutures from biopolymer removal are removed 10 days after the surgery, if they do not dissolve on their own. Sutures are located on the inner part of the lip, so any scarring cannot be seen. After the surgery, patients may experience swelling and bruising, which disappears after a couple of days. Full recovery takes 2 months from the surgery, and at that time lips can then be corrected using dermal fillers.
- Guidelines after the surgery
Patients are advised to rest and apply cold compresses during the first 24-48 hours and use antibiotics. Also, solid food should be avoided during the first 24 hours, as well as hot beverages and spicy food.
